Prof. Dr. Stefan Toggweiler is the head of interventional valve therapy at Heart Center Lucerne. He has performed about 1000 TAVI and 200 mitral valve procedures. Dr. Toggweiler has published on safety and efficacy of TAVI, conduction disorders, pacemakers, vascular complications, and mitral/tricuspid valve disease in high impact journals.
Prof. Toggweiler will bring his expertise in interventional cardiology and clinical research to Hi-D Imaging AG. As head of clinical operations in our company, he will be responsible for our clinical studies. With his guidance, Hi-D Imaging will start the first clinical pilot study at the Heart Center Lucerne.
