Dr. Sreenath Kyathanahally earned his PhD in biomedical engineering at the University of Bern as part of a Marie-Curie fellowship, where he worked on creating machine learning-based methods for MR spectral quality monitoring.
He received his Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Auburn University, USA, where he was initially introduced to the realm of medical imaging. Prior to Hi-D Imaging, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Balgrist University Hospital, segmenting spinal cord lesions using deep learning techniques, a computer vision scientist at Qualysense AG, and scientific staff at ETH. Sreenath contributes his knowledge in medical imaging from working in hospitals throughout his Ph.D. and Postdoctoral studies, as well as his application of deep learning models to medical images.
